Peerless single sigma mixer

 It is a size #  9 SD [nominal 2800 lb mixing capacity] mixer in Peerless’

 The inside of the bowl and the lid on mixer are S/S and the main shaft and the agitator are mild steel….

The mixer was originally set up for 40/20 RPM mixing with a 100/50 HP two speed, main mixing motor, 460 volt.

 It has the Semco aluminum scale hopper still mounted above the mixer as shown in the photos.

 This mixer is still connected to power and it is in solid running condition.

This Peerless single sigma mixer size 7SD [nominal 2,100 lb mixing capacity], and is presently 460 volt powered.

The attached photo of the main mixer motor nametag shows that it is currently a 40 HP single speed motor.

 

If you want two speeds, the motor should be changed or a frequency inverter should be added to the control panel.

 This mixer would have a mixing capacity of approximately 2,100 +/- lbs maximum as it closely approximates the size of a Peerless 7SD mixer.

 The electrical controls of this mixer should be upgraded.
